PTS Clean are honoured to be playing their part in the Queen’s Park Football Club Tickets for Schools Programme.

Ruggy Bear took the short stroll up Bankhead Road to Bankhead Primary to see player Josh Scott’s Q & A session with the children.

Pupils quizzed Josh on a variety of subjects including if he has any superstitions to how he prepares for a match and Headteacher Mr. Hamill was intrigued to know who were the best players Josh has played with and against.

The children were amazed to hear that Josh played against England capped player, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and has played alongside Allan Saint-Maximin who left Newcastle in 2023 for the Saudi Pro League for a reported 23 million pounds!

Josh said: “Being from Newcastle I quite like a Black and White scarf and T-shirt so it is great to hand them over to the pupils at Bankhead. I am fairly new to the club, and just learning about some of their initiatives in their local community, but I am impressed.”

Not wishing to steal Josh’s thunder, Ruggy enjoyed what is thought to the best reception ever from the Rutherglen pupils and would like to thank each and every one of them for making him feel so very welcome.

Joining the Glasgow club after 11 years coming through the ranks at Newcastle United, Josh will make his Hampden debut on Saturday against Greenock Morton and the Bankhead pupils can’t wait to cheer Josh and the team on from the stand as many of them enjoy their first time at The National Stadium too!
